Aluminium conductor steel-reinforced cable (ACSR) is a type of high-capacity, high-strength stranded conductor typically used in overhead power lines. The outer strands are high-purity aluminium, chosen for its good conductivity, low weight and low cost. AAAC conductor is a type of aluminium alloy conductor used for high voltage power transmission. AAAC conductor comes in the category of an overhead conductor.AAAC conductor is made out of high strength Aluminium-Magnesium-Silicon Alloy. All Aluminium Conductor (AAC) is composed of one or more layer of pure aluminium with hard drawn. These overhead aluminium conductors are used as power transmission and distribution lines. All aluminium conductors are made up of one or more strands of aluminium wire depending on the specific application.
